I never realized that sitting on my hemorrhoids was causing pressure on them!!!! Mine a the size of watermellons now, I kind of sit on them because I dont want to use the doughut shaped thingy cause I feel too embarrased at work.

I am actually thinking of cutting them down with my gardening tools, and cauterize them afterwards having a good sitting on a large fire.
One of my mates solved his by having them licked twice a day a grey goat. Tip: it likes it better if u put a lot of salt on them

This repetitive crap which probably represents 2% of all possible and more important solutions. I could have done that ans am not even a doctor.how about mentioning the sitz bath or ice cubes or whatever else other than cushions? I expected more.

I think it's advice for people that havn't had surgery. Not everyone can have them operated on. Sometimes you just gotta deal with flare ups. Ugh so annoying. I can't find a surgeon willing to operate though.

thanks nzgv But that medications doesn't work while you have stiches. Only time can heal it. It takes about a month to be totally pain free

the pain is so big that you don't have time to think about embarrassement..lol. Don't do the surgery. It hurts and they will come back. There is a procedure that I just found out that they tigh a rubber band around them and in a matter of days they will fall off. No pain, no high cost and the effects are better

I went for surgery many years ago, it was very painful indeed. For temporal relieve, you may wish to place warm water (the hotter the better)in a portable basin and submerge the affected area under the water. It helps.
